Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Office Manager to join our team. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and possess excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the front desk staff, including training and scheduling
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Monitor guest reviews and feedback, taking appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve front office operations
Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, reservations, and night audit
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with international guests
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other front office software applications
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle high call volumes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve guest issues effectively
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Previous experience in hotel management or a related field is preferred
