What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flu Nurse for PRN position at Ramp Health?
Reports to: Program/Operations Manager
Note: There will be other opportunities outside of simply providing flu vaccinations
Responsibilities:

Perform Biometric testing to include sample collection using finger-stick technique, manual and automatic blood pressure readings, body mass index, body fat, bone density, spirometry, as needed.
- Review results and provides health education to participants while maintaining their privacy.
- Administer vaccines such as flu, Tdap, Shingles, Pneumonia, etc *who can administer depends on state and federal guidelines*

Perform COVID-19 vaccinations utilizing provided vaccine by multiple manufacturers. Willingness to perform on both adults and children.
- Vaccination of COVID-19 requires certification in administration, we will provide you the links for this after onboarding.
- Perform COVID-19 testing to include sample collection using nasopharyngeal technique or technique instructed by test manufacturer. Willingness to perform on both adults and children.
**BILINGUAL IS A HUGE PLUS**
- Attend paid training as required or offered, in-person and/or zoom meeting.
- Function as a team player to ensure the success of assigned programs.
- Assist, when required, with the transportation of medical instruments and supplies to and from screening events.
- Facilitate effective communication between Wellness Coaches and the customer.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Compensation:
Standard per diem, PRN hourly rate based on your credentials.
Team Leads are assigned an hourly differential when assigned to an event.
No company benefits.
Physical demands: Extended periods of standing, sitting, walking. Some bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
Special requirements: Must be 18 or above.
