Position Summary:
The project coordinator will coordinate the project's budget, risks, challenges, and schedule. Their responsibility is to ensure that the project management framework is properly set up and works as planned by using the standards of the Project Management Office (PMO). The project coordinator's role is to manage the day-to-day details of a project so that the project manager may concentrate on bigger-picture concerns and potential difficulties. The project coordinators also need to ensure that various divisions of the company are on the same page for a particular project.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Drive due dates and task completion for business and technology teams
- Support project manager in leading meetings with users and technical teams by making meticulous notes
- Maintain RAID log and proactively monitor and coordinate to resolve issues and risks in a timely manner
- Meet with business team members to discuss and assist with gathering project requirements and present discoveries to the Project Manager
- Maintain project documentation through the project's lifecycle
- Create both user workflows and technical documentation
- Monitoring the project folder and documentation storage to ensure data is easily retrievable
- Assist with creating PowerPoint decks for various meetings as needed
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience as a project coordinator, project manager, business analyst or other related area
- Proficiency in Office365 including Microsoft Teams
- Managed small or supported larger cross-departmental projects that span multiple months or years
- Clear and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Experiencing with data measuring, analytics, and reporting
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- College Degree
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience leading an ERP migration project
- Knowledge of Apparel Business Solutions (ABS) ERP system
- Experience leading a WMS migration project
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS system
- Strong operational and development knowledge using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)
