Position Summary:
The Project Manager is accountable for the successful completion of various large-scale projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). They ensure that teams comply with the project scope, schedules, and budget throughout the duration of the projects. They are also in charge of making timetables, keeping in touch with everyone on the team, and monitoring progress to ensure that objectives are met. They oversee making sure that a project is successful and meets the standards of the PMO and CIO. The Project manager is in charge of making sure a project is effectively completed and that all essential goals and requirements of the project sponsor are met.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project plans/task lists, including milestones, tasks, dependencies, and deliverables using processes/tools appropriate for the complexity level of the project.
- Drive due dates and task completion for business and technology teams
- Lead project meetings with stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
- Understand business and system processes.
- Maintain Issues and Risks logs, proactively monitoring and coordinating to resolve issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Meet with business team members to discuss and assist with project requests and work with developers to determine technical feasibility and scope of projects.
- Maintain project documentation through the project’s lifecycle
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to facilitate design requirement and provide clarification throughout the project’s lifecycle.
- Create both user workflows, and technical documentation.
- Perform process analysis and optimization efforts
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a project manager or project coordinator
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proficiency in Office365 with emphasis on Teams meetings
- Well versed in the use of Microsoft Project
- Managed both small and larger cross-departmental projects that span multiple months or years
- Clear and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Experiencing with data measuring, analytics, and reporting.
- College Degree
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience leading an ERP migration project
- Knowledge of Apparel Business Solutions (ABS) ERP system
- Experience leading a WMS migration project
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS system
- Strong operational and development knowledge using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)
