Customer Service Associate / Cashier
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate discounts, sales tax, and change accurately
- Demonstrate knowledge of technology products to assist customers with their purchasing decisions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of jewelry sales is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using cash registers and other point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated ability to sell products effectively
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries
