Overview


At Randori, we help defenders continuously assess their real-world security. Our automated attack platform provides a red team experience designed to mirror today’s adversaries, not yesterday’s threats. We partner with security teams to help them understand the art of the possible by delivering an unrivaled attack experience, at scale. 


As a Randori Technical Lead, you will lead projects to enhance, scale and deliver software solutions for our Cyber Security platform. You’ll work with our product leads, red team, researchers, and developers to shape the direction of our products and deliver value to customers. The work is frenetic but has a tremendous impact on our customers and the security market as a whole.


We are looking for driven software professionals who know how to plan, run and lead software development while also contributing as a coder on the team.  Effectively balancing the need to drive innovation into our product while being responsible for the quality of the technical deliverables.  You have at your fingertips a mastery of several software frameworks and deployment technologies. You have experience with at least one cloud provider API. You are experienced with scripting languages, and have capability with python. You have a history of helping drive a team and are capable of quickly learning new technologies.


Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Lead development efforts running a team of developers to deliver on new features by partnering with our product team  
  • Run feedback sessions to unlock possibilities from subject matter experts, align internal stakeholders and break large projects into small incremental milestones
  • Mentor developers, unblock development efforts and communicate accurate status/estimates
  • Actively design, code and participate in delivering the project
  • Define, break down and prioritize work to deliver incremental milestones
  • Maintain quality and standards of the teams delivery while fostering an empowered, passionate development environment


What’s Required:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or commensurate practical experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in modern programming language (Go, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby)
  • Experience as a technical lead in multiple projects in an agile environment
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure or Rackspace 
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable SaaS based solutions
  • Adaptability to changing directions and requirements


Preferred qualifications:

  • Expertise with Docker in cloud computing platforms
  • Expertise with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby or JavaScript
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to breakdown work
