Randstad Federal is seeking a Database Administrator in support of a federal program with US Navy.
location: BETHESDA, Maryland
job type: Contract
salary: $80 - 100 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Requirements:
Five (5) years of SAP or COTS implementation and post-production support experience. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
-Expertise in SAP specific database structures
-Expertise in development of custom queries in support of data discovery
-Expertise in SAP BW
-Understanding of all data flows within, into, and out of SAP system.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of SAP enterprise COTS implementation and post-production support experience, five (5) years of Navy ERP specific experience preferred
- Minimum of ten (10 years) experience managing enterprise database including Oracle, HANA.
- Demonstrated analytic ability to perform SQL development, evaluate programmatic data, and propose solutions to project issues.
- Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
- These resources require privileged access and require a PAA form and an SSBI.
- DoD clearance required (must be clearable)
Primary Job Duties:
- Supports the SCG compliance by providing DBA support for data discovery and analysis efforts
- Supports development of reports and documentation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting data discovery or compliance efforts
- Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
- Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
- Preferred experience working with handling classified data and security classification guides (SCG)
- Preferred experience working with Naval information systems
- Preferred experience working with interfaces between enterprise business systems
