Are you looking for a full-time/long term opportunity with a great company? Are you passionate about keeping a warehouse on schedule? Do you have previous forklift experience? If so, we have the perfect position for you! We are currently hiring forklift operators for a fast-paced warehouse in Des Plaines.

salary: $17 - $18 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 10 AM - 6:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places

• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

• Transport raw materials to production workstations

• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance

• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working weekends
