Our client in Smyrna, TN is adding Maintenance Techs to their team. These Direct Hire positions are 2nd/3rd shift, 6am to 2:30pm. Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and other support equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- 18 month certification (tech school) or Degree (2 yr or 4 yr) in Mechatronics/Multi-Skilled Maintenance or
- Three or more years experience in an applicable field of work

Responsibilities
- PLC programming (creating, editing, troubleshooting)
- Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems on a wide variety of equipment
- Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings
- Must have excellent communications skills and be able to work well with others
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Proper use and care of PPE
- Experience with 5S process.
- Record data onto forms provided
- Perform inspections of equipment
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
- Other duties as required
Skills
- forklift (1 year of experience is required)
- welding (3 years of experience is preferred)
- Electrical (3 years of experience is preferred)
- Tech School (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Mechatronics (2 years of experience is preferred)
