Responsibilities

Read work instructions, follow drawings and verbal directions as necessary to accomplish tasks

Ability to effectively perform high and low-temperature soldering

Installs components and parts such as micro-controllers, resistors, capacitors, switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, and integrated circuits on circuit boards, panels, and other units

Check the bill of materials (BOM) for printed circuit board assembly to ensure availability of components

Identify and organize printed circuit boards and components for assembly

Inspect circuit components for defects and correctness in accordance with the BOM

Assemble circuit components on circuit board or other accessory product chassis as required

Inspect PCB assembly work (component layout, soldering) in process to maintain adherence to acceptable standards

Inspect finished PCB assembly work (component layout, soldering) to ensure adherence to acceptable standards

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 5 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Electronic Assembling

• Parts Assembling (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Line Work

• Mechanical Assembling (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Circuit Board Assembling

• Years of experience: 2 years

• Experience level: Experienced
