account manager

We are currently seeking an Account Manager in Bucks County, PA. This position provides customer service, project management, and account management support both internally and externally. This person will be responsible for order management to ensure timely processing of orders and delivery dates. Ideal candidate will develop relationships with customers and stakeholders as well as liasing between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of orders according to customer needs.

salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders
• Work closely with other teams to review and improve customer specifications
• Follow up, escalate risks and potential problems with customer orders and parts to the appropriate teams
• Prepare customer quotes, sample requests, and order status information
• Monitor orders throughout the process, advise customers, Sales, and Operations of any delays and provide alternatives to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled
• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Negotiate expedite fees and scheduling requests
• Work closely with planning and manufacturing to determine shipping dates
• Clearly communicate updated order acknowledgment to customer and updated systems
• Work with Sales Managers to coordinate internal information requests, technical information and quotes

Education/Skills

• Bachelors degree in Businees or relevant experience
• 2 yrs customer service, sales, or account management exp.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
• MS Office, SAP, CRM, ERP exp.
