Do you have experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping? Randstad Pinellas is currently recruiting for a temp-to-hire Accounting/Bookkeeping opportunity at a manufacturing company in Largo, FL. It is a fast-paced warehouse environment with a professional team.

Position is in Largo, FL.

$20.00-$33.00/Hour

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm M-F

Candidates must have:

• At least 4 years of accounting experience.
• Excel proficiency is required (Pivot Tables, V-lookup) Word/Outlook also required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required or equivalent work experience.
• QuickBooks experience REQUIRED!
• Excellent communication skills is a MUST!

Responsibilities

• Enter deposits
• Receive payments against invoices
• Handle delinquent accounts
• Process & record credit applications, customer refunds, credit memos
• Match invoices to inbound/outbound items, enter bills & cut checks weekly
• Reconcile missing AP/AR items
• Maintain account ledgers
• Resolve account discrepancies
• Oversee employee expenses, credit card purchases, bookkeeping & order entry/customer service
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions/data
• Perform backup AP/AR & order entry duties
• Close out books monthly by checking into unshipped Sales Orders, unpaid Invoices, upcoming Bills & adjusting or make changes
• Monitor quarterly state payroll requirements & file any payments
• Prepare financial reports (end-of-month, upcoming/unpaid bill, spending comparisons & cash on hand)
• Research ways to improve business spending while reducing costs
• Create budget, financial reports & cost comparisons for different company segments; present info to CPA & administration
