Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant that is available to start working immediately? I am hiring an experienced Accountant to start work immediately who will assist with Reconciliations, Budgeting and getting a small accounting team, back on track. Responsibilities

 

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and payroll records.

Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions and ensure proper classification and allocation of funds.

Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accurate representation of cash balances and identify any discrepancies.

Process and review invoices, verify supporting documentation, and ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining accurate records.

Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up with clients/customers on overdue payments, and maintain a system for efficient collections.

Support the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, track expenses against budget, and analyze variances.

• Reconciliation (5 years of experience is required)
• Budgeting (5 years of experience is required)
• Quickbooks Pro (5 years of experience is required)
• GAAP (5 years of experience is required)
