We are currently hiring an Accountant for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of accounting experience and a great understanding of GAAP. Responsibilities
- Processing of cash, check and credit card deposits including sales from Portico and Source
- Prepare weekly journal entries for recording income/deposits to the General Ledger
- Oversee volunteers in weekly AR process of receiving and recording gifts in Database
- Prepare Monthly journal entries for allocation of expenses
- Perform Calculation and Preparation for Monthly Accrual entries
- Monthly General Ledger Account Reconciliations/Analysis for month end close
- Monthly Monitoring of Expenses for Capitalized assets
- Assist in financial reporting and departmental budget reviews
- Special projects as needed
