CNC machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator (1st Class) to join our dynamic team.  As a CNC Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the precise machining of a wide range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steels, copper, plastics, hi-temp alloys, and Monel. Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Prepare CNC milling machines for production runs, including tool selection, workpiece setup, and program loading.
  
  
• Programming: Load, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to meet job requirements.
  
  
• Material Expertise: Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steels, copper, plastics, hi-temp alloys, and Monel.
  
  
• Quality Control: Conduct frequent quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  
  
• Machine Operation: Operate CNC milling machines efficiently and safely to achieve production goals.
  
  
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any issues or malfunctions for repair.
  
  
• Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including setup sheets and inspection reports.
  
  
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel to ensure job requirements are met.
  
  
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
