Cash Collections Specialist needed for a Lancaster county manufacturing company. Overall position objective is to maximize cash inflow by identifying and corresponding with customers whose accounts are beyond normal corporate payment terms and exceeded credit limits and make every effort to minimize past due accounts receivable balance. Responsibilities

•  Prioritize collection workload according to degree and amount of delinquency.
• Call, email, fax, and utilize any other means to contact customer regarding open items. Update customer notes with collection call information and details.
• Research and process customer deductions against invoice payments and follow-up with customer on discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean aging report addressing any outlying aged items.
• Cross train and be a backup for cash receipts applications. 
• Cash receipts occur in the form of checks, credit cards, Automatic Clearing House (ACH) or wire payments.   
• follow up on short pays, deductions, fines, etc. 
• Issue credit when advisable and create disputes for questionable customer chargebacks.
• Create new customer account set ups.
• Perform credit/financial health eligibility checks and enter into Sage 100 ERP.
• Associates degree in accounting or business preferred.
• 2-3 years previous work-related experience in finance or accounting.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
