responsibilities:
- report to owner daily on-going issues with credit and collection
- convert owner's instructions into specific tasks and lead credit and collection team to follow through in a timely and efficient manner
- coordinate with sales team on new credit applications, changing credit limits, and held orders
- manage sales tax exempt certificates
- process liens and bond claims for owner's approval
- review issues with unapplied and partial payments, mobilize team members to resolve these issues
- train staff and lead system/process improvements
qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have
- minimum 10 years credit experience and 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Ideally in an industry whose customers include Contractors and Construction Companies.
- communication and team-building skills
- ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- experience with credit bureaus
- experience with handling liens and bond claims
- Excel skills a plus
