A prominent industrial manufacturing company in the greater Chicago area is seeking a Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will execute custom designs for customer-specific applications for the mechanical engineering department. The engineer will be challenged with a balance of projects for active orders and work towards expanding the potential offerings for the product portfolio. The Engineer will work with the sales team as the technical design expert to provide customer design solutions and layout drawings. This is a high prioirty search, salaried in the $100K range. The position is flexible work from home. The only day required to be in the office is Wednesdays.
