responsibilities:
- Work with lead engineer to develop various design concepts for sheetmetal, welded assemblies, machined components, and flexible fluid lines routings.
- Assist engineers to troubleshoot design or model issues.
- Prepare engineering drawings in compliance with company engineering standards to be used for supplier collaboration and/or manufacturing purposes.
- Maintain engineering release and change documentation.
- Works closely with engineering lead as well as peers.
- Communicates daily through email, chat or virtual meeting.
- Fast paced, supportive teamwork environment that promotes peer collaboration.
- Experience with CAD parametric modeling softwares, such as PTC Creo, Solidworks, Autocad Inventor.
- Basic Microsoft Office and Windows Knowledge.
- strong Mechanical Aptitude and 3d special awareness.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- 2 year technical degree in computer aided drafting, welding and fabrication, or machining preferred.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
