Director of Financial Systems

job summary:
The Director of Financial Systems will have overall responsibility for developing and overseeing project management practices, processes, methodologies, and metrics as they relate to our multi-entity ERP integrations (Viewpoint Spectrum). The Director will lead the implementation team and work cross-functionally to determine implementation schedule/timelines and resource allocation, and manage multiple workstreams to meet critical deliverables. Will work closely with team members to resolve issues and develop, document, and communicate standard solutions that incorporate best practices. Develop comprehensive application management best practices including but not limited to master documentation of the overall system, documentation of role-based permissions, robust user and license management, help desk ticketing system.

responsibilities:
Key Deliverables

• Develop and implement robust implementation tools including project charter, discovery templates, project plans, UAT guides, robust training plans, RAID log, weekly status reports etc.
• Lead and support ERP integration efforts working closely with accounting, finance and operations, track progress, measure and communicate results
• Identify and resolve issues early to ensure consistent configuration, thorough training, and overall readiness before go-live, engage key stakeholders to ensure accountability
• Implement help desk or ticketing system to streamline support process for multi-entity platform

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and direct MIS team, overseeing complex installation of ERP technologies
• Work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure business objectives are met
• Develop and implement scalable best practices related to ERP implementations
• Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery
• Implement a help desk or ticketing system to streamline support
• Identify opportunities to optimize ERP
• Manage, coach, and develop team
• Develop a communication platform to stakeholders receive regular updates
• Other duties as assigned
