job summary:
Industry leading, very reputable and well established manufacturing company is looking for an Electrical Supervisor in the Jackson, Mississippi area. This is not a remote or hybrid position, all candidates must be willing to work 100% of the time a manufacturing plant environment.
This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $90k to $100k plus a quarterly bonus opportunity and relocation assistance.

responsibilities:
-Lead the team to work injury -free and incident free in a continuous manufacturing environment consistent with management philosophy and framework.
-Disseminate technical knowledge to hourly staff via in-house training to enhance the technical and troubleshooting skills of the personnel.
-Assist in troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and control issues to minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
-Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
-Monitor the quality of craft work and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
-Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment.
-Other duties as needed.
Required Skills:
-Five plus years' experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
-Experienced in the use of preventative maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.
-Experienced in troubleshooting methods to ensure that uptime, production volume, and quality targets are met.
-Experience with power distribution, Allen Bradley PLC (studio 5000), Powerflex drive, HMI, and Robotics
-Very good team building and motivational skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Environmental Conditions:
-Must be able to tolerate extreme hot, humid, cold, and outdoor conditions. Comfortable working in loud environment, around moving machinery, with vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
