Electrical Technician

salary: $29 - $42 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
• Specialize in troubleshooting and repairing electronic/mechanically controlled machinery and industrial equipment, as well as general plant facility/ building maintenance.
• PLC/electrically controlled, coating machines, ovens, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, cutters, conveyors, packaging equipment, printing machines and a wide variety of other industrial manufacturing equipment.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

manual lifting up to 30lbs

standing for 4 hours at one time

working weekends
