Electro Mechanical Technician

We are looking for a Electro Mechanical Technician who comes from a background in reading blueprint/schematics, using micrometers, calipers, pnuematic/power tools, and has the experience in Soldering. The ideal candidate comes from a production background in subassembly, testing, and repair. Preferred experience in Microsoft Excel is a plus for data entry purposes.

salary: $25 - $30 per hour

work hours: 7:15 AM - 4:45 PM
education: High School



Responsibilities

• Production of subassemblies and integration of subassemblies into rack based systems and enclosures
• Ability to perform mechanical assembly of small and large equipment including alignment and assemble of component parts, using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and fixtures
• Test and repair subassemblies or cables to component level
• Able to work off of and understand engineer schematics/blueprint
• Ability to perform test procedures using test instruments such as oscilloscopes
• Ability to use Excel or Quickbooks

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
