A local client of ours in the Wilmington area is seeking a Bid Coordinator for their local office and they are specifically looking for a candidate that has previously worked in the construction industry! salary: $50,000 - $85,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

Reviews bid log gathering information and requirements; setting priorities on what
projects are to be bid.
 Prepares construction proposals for all products listed within our specifications,
takeoff/product cost/proposal.
 Make sure our Manufactures are speced if not get approved
 Computes cost by analyzing labor, material and time requirements
 Evaluates offers to purchase by all specified manufacturers (bids only)
 Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
 Resolves cost discrepancies between manufacturers prior to bid
 Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
 Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in
professional societies.
