responsibilities:
- Examines assembled products to determine if items meet tolerance specifications and ensures failed products are required to meet specifications.
- Supervises workers who use hand tools, jigs, and various power tools and equipment.
- Studies, schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and completion of job
- Requisitions material required to meet production goals.
- Establishes work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines and equipment.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, electrical diagrams and job orders to employees and assign duties.
- Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product and analyzes and resolves work problems,
- Conducts routine troubleshooting and problem solving
- Facilitates continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety
- Electrical Journeyman's license or a minimum of 5 years commercial electrical construction experience
- Previous experience managing in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers and vendors
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
