responsibilities:
- Supports and assists in the design, development, production, testing, operation and maintenance of components and equipment.
- Prepares detailed drawings and layouts and conducts materials testing.
- Performs equipment maintenance, calibration, mechanical and electrical repairs, adjustments and monitoring of products under development.
- Experienced with complex instruments, testing equipment and gauges.
- May test models, write reports, identify problems and suggest solutions.
- Computer skills Microsoft office products, Word and Excel specifically, strong data entry skills, ability to multi-task and GIS background.
- Must be customer focused.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to be a self starter as well as work in a team environment.
- Must be able to interact well and build working relationships with a variety of internal and external customers.
