WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Global Manager, Operations Contractor to join the Global Communications Operations team
for a six-month contract. This person will be responsible for contributing to a developing culture of operational
excellence by bringing a strategic, operations lens to how work is approached and led. Across internal and
external initiatives, they will bring project management expertise - developing project plans, providing budget
oversight and management, promoting collaboration and clear communication within project teams and cross
functionally.
The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, proactive, organized and an effective communicator.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with the Global Operations Director, influencing and implementing operational improvements and driving consistency across the function.
You will be providing project management leadership on Global communications projects:
- Developing project plans, including project timelines, workstream organization and recommended
operating rhythm
- Day-to-day project management support (clear agendas, recaps, team alignment, etc.)
- Partner and vendor management
- Budget management, in partnership with Finance and Operations Director
- Anticipating roadblocks and providing proactive solutions, escalating when necessary
- Driving the elements of narrative creation and execution process, building and leading meeting agendas ensuring all teams have a defined path with clear milestones and objectives and are progressing toward goal. Sharing clear next steps and meeting outcomes
- Ensuring global calendar, leveraged by full function is updated with key dates and milestones
- Highlighting process improvements and architecting solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant project management experience within a creative environment, agency or in-house experience is helpful but not required
- Bachelor's degree - Creative and strategic approach to problem solving
- Proven track record of simultaneously managing multiple initiatives of varying complexity
- Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate and collaborate with team members across all levels of the organization
- Ability to establish trust and develop strong relationships with project teams, vendors and cross functional partners
- Vendor management experience - proven track record of partnering with Procurement, Legal, Finance & AP teams to onboard vendors, develop contracts, manage relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Working knowledge of Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Box
- Ability to travel, as required by role or project
