HR Senior Data Analyst

job summary:
Our clients team is looking for an HR Senior Data Analyst who will act as the subject matter expert for Contingent Workforce Analytics and Business Intelligence tools within the client's office. The HR Senior Data Analyst will operate at both tactical and strategic level with an emphasis on ensuring data integrity, analyzing and interpreting the data available to provide insight and help drive strategic business decisions.

The transformation of data into end-user ready assets such as scorecards, reports and dashboards will aid in optimizing talent decisions. The percentage of time spent in data management and maintenance is 30% while 70% of time will be spent comparing information across the organization pertaining to labor pool (i.e., headcount, data rates, category spend, etc.) to identify non-employee trend patterns. Descriptive data summaries including visualizations of non-employee data for a wide range of audiences will need to be generated.

• Experience in modern Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms (i.e Qlik, Power BI)
• Sophisticated MS Excel, MS Access is a plus
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Superior oral and written communication skills (clear, concise, informative, adaptable), leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to learn new systems quickly and understand a broad Technology Ecosystem
• Highly organized "process master", able to execute with precision under tight deadlines
• Outstanding attention to detail. Able to work with a large volume of data in order to identify anomalies, trends, gaps, etc.
• Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Understands proper escalation pathways and triggers
• Prior experience in a life sciences industry is desired

To be considered for this opportunity, you have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field, 10 years professional work experience, 7 years in a data management position, preferably in an HR function.

responsibilities:
A typical day may include:

• Supports the data processing function for NEMO, including the following associated activities:
• Maintain data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of Beeline data
• Compares Beeline Worker Extract with other source data (Oracle, Workday, Active Directory) to identify any abnormalities; conducts root-cause analysis
• Audit data for missing information, and work with NEMO Operation and Leadership to remedy impacted records
• Develop efficiencies and/or streamline processes for data quality reporting
• Serves as a resource for process-improvement tasks and special projects
• Support development and evolution of Analytics Strategy and governance, including tool guidance, usage monitoring, and report rationalization
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
• Develops both predictive and descriptive analytics to identify key non-employee talent opportunities, communicate these insights to others effectively to facilitate timely and informed business decision
• Translates metric priorities into business and HR facing dashboards with compelling visualizations and storytelling to help guide decision-making regarding non-employee talent and organizational practices for senior management (i.e., cost, quality, efficiency within functional areas)
• Receive, qualify, and respond to requests for data extracts. Partner with NEMO Leadership to validate user access rights before granting permission or sharing data to business end-users
• Build and modify Qlik Sense dashboards which correspond to the most common end-user data requests
• Support NEMO Leadership with requests for data for presentations and executive updates
