salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walk through on production floor
• Provide day-to-day support in all functional areas of Human Resources in a production environment by complying with employment laws and company guidelines
• Administer and communicate company policy and procedure
• Promote Coaching/Counseling/Mentoring mindset when dealing with employee issues
• Administer progressive disciplinary action based on Company policy and precedence
• Follow up with team members to answer questions and concerns
• Assist and maintain authorized headcount through staffing and direct hire onboarding practices
• Maintain the staffing log and job posting process including interviews, candidate selections and processing
• Maintain employee personnel, medical, and I-9 files based on Company policy
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for new employees
• Ensure that the Department of Labor (DOL) requests are completed within the given timelines
• Represent the company on the DOL hearings and appeals that the company receives
