responsibilities:
- Study current manufacturing methods, find areas that slow down production, and create innovative solutions to make operations more efficient, faster, and productive.
- Determine best ways to work and set standards for labor. Use this information to make schedules and decide how resources should be used.
- Use lean principles and techniques like 6S, value stream mapping, and standardized work to make operations smoother, reduce waste, and improve how things flow.
- Lead teams that work together from different parts of the company. Use tools and data analysis to make processes more cost effective, better quality, and more efficient.
- Look into issues with production, equipment, and quality to determine root cause and repair to prevent future issues.
- Create systems and visual displays that show current progress to determine correct course of action.
- Team up with engineers, production, quality, and others to make sure everything fits together smoothly and meet production goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related industry not required but preferred.
- Familiarity with direct machine control applications and methods including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software prefered
- Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in process analysis tools such as value stream mapping, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Competency with Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Visualization Tools including Tableau, Power BI, Python and SQL preferred.
