responsibilities:
Performance Objectives for the First 12 Months:
- Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in client's and industry standards related to Asset Management.
- As a core member of the Asset Management team, understand and document current and future operational state.
- Act as the key operational lead for the practice, provide reports and tiered metrics to communicate the operational health of the practice and underlying processes.
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge of the Asset Management tool installed and how best to leverage it.
- Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
- Develop and operationalize the baseline metrics required to measure process quality, effectiveness, and efficiency, including the voice of the customer and the voice of the process and set improvement targets.
- Analyze interfacing system feeds and asset management data to recommend actions to rationalize data collection and improve data quality.
- Develop plans to address operational data, process, and practice deficiencies.
- Track and publish adherence to standard work required to ensure successful execution of the assigned process or processes.
- Manage, resolve, and prevent data management and process problems that impact client's ability to conduct business effectively.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Asset Management processes, including roadmaps, process documents, work instructions, standard work, and metrics.
- Execute day-to-day work and responsibilities for Asset Management processes, ensuring attainment of measurement targets.
- Develop and publish process metrics, identifying issues, impediments, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify, plan, and execute service and process improvements.
- Oversee execution of standard work required for process success.
- strong analytical skills, including demonstrated record of developing, documenting, and adhering to business and IT processes.
- strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
- Operational mindset to measure existing processes and derive areas of opportunity for improvement.
- Comfortable with data entry, data management and reporting.
- Adept at learning and comprehending new technology, applications, and software solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL); Foundations certificate preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills, preferably with experience within a large and complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering results through project management or by applying influence to lead formal or informal teams without formal authority.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Excel capabilities, along with SQL Server, service management tools, and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of application lifecycle management.
