logistics analyst

We are seeking an experienced Logistic Analyst to join a R&D team for a global agricultural research company. Their products and services are designed to help people and the planet thrive by supporting efforts to master the major challenges presented by a growing and aging global population. They are committed to driving sustainable development and generating a positive impact with its businesses. This is a remote position supporting a team that is based in St. Louis, MO.

salary: $24 - $27 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

As the selected candidate, you will provide logistical support to a R&D team, with a focus in plant breeding. You will be responsible for enhancing product workflow by analyzing, developing & coordinating logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. You will create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply chain, Mathematics, Business, or Information technology.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in order to complete tasks on-time.
• Ability to both learn and manage complex workflows which require data/input from multiple partners.
• R&D experience in plant breeding is preferred, but not required.
