Machine Tool Operator

Are you mechanically skilled and inclined with aspirations of being a machine operator one day? We have a machine tool operator position available located in Mars, PA. You will be helping the CNC machine operators run the machines. This is a 1st shift position, paid weekly! For more info call Randstad 724-935-3460  

salary: $16.5 - $17 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Responsible to safely operate manual and CNC machine tools.

Essential Duties:
1. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Adhere to safety regulations.
2. Adhere to company standard quality assurance procedures and processes to maintain specifications of product’s
blueprint (Imperial System of Measurement and Metric System of Measurement).
3. Operate manual and CNC machine tools: load and unload material to and from machine tool work holding, observe
material cutting processes, perform tool life management and tool compensation, detect and report defective
material, product, and equipment at machine tool.
4. Complete parts finishing operation of product to ensure it conforms to specifications per blueprint.
5. Complete machine tool routine maintenance and assist maintenance with diagnosing equipment repair.

Secondary Duties
1. Assist in the production of quality parts in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Participate in all staff training and meetings as required.
3. Other duties as assigned.



The essential functions of this role include:
