Randstad is looking for experienced mail sorters in the West Sacaramento area that are looking for a fast paced working enviornment. We are looking for hard-working people to join a mail sorting team today. Responsibilities

Machine Operators operate high-speed electronic printers printing various statements and client output. They interpret production orders to ascertain the proper job requirements prior to execution of the client-printed output. Machine Operators maintain quality of output, including matching colors. They perform preventative maintenance and authorized repairs. They are responsible for assembling printed materials into a final product and distributing final product to end destination. Activities may include the setup and operation of high speed, automated computer controlled equipment that prepares materials by cutting, bursting, binding, folding, inserting, labeling, stitching, and trimming. Machine Operators may also set up and run high speed presort equipment, prepare mail for acceptance by the Post Office, and ensure all internal and external customer requirements are met

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills

• Mail sorting (6 months of experience is preferred)
• Sorting (6 months of experience is preferred)
• Detail Oriented (6 months of experience is preferred)
