Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join Microporous in Piney Flats, TN! The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in their facility, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, motors, and controls. The Maintenance Electrician will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment as needed, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure maximum equipment uptime. salary: $43,680 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machinery that includes work in the areas of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Complete work orders as assigned by supervision. Complete daily activity reports that indicate the work completed and/or outstanding for the next shift.
• Complete a full shift turnover to oncoming shift technicians.
• Mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, conveyor systems, and bearings.
• Pneumatic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
• Have the ability to work on 480-volt systems safely.
• Have the ability to work safely and exhibit behavior consistent with the Microporous core values, including contributions to the 6S program and environmental safety.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
