Material Handler / Operator

Randstad is looking for a Material Handler for the Forks of the River area! This position would work a 12 hour rotating schedule 7pm-7:30am. Candidates in this role would need steel toed shoes and be required to wear ear protection. Employees are eligible for a pay increase up to $3 within 90 days. Previous manufacturing experience is required and candidates would need stable work experience for consideration. Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate equipment to produce blades of acceptable quality.
• Perform visual and mechanical tests on blades to assure quality.
• Maintain necessary records/charts; keep work area and equipment clean.
• Perform finishing operations such as oiling, carton preparation, packing, etc.
• Provide assistance in pre-grind operations as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working weekends
