Medical Receptionist

Are you a friendly and motivated individual who loves working in a fast paced environment? If so, we are looking for a multifaceted individual who can successfully multi-task the day to day responsibilities of an experienced Medical Receptionist . We are looking for someone who is comfortable on the phone, has great computer skills, and has exemplary patient/customer service skills.  Must be able to commute to Huntsville, Alabama.

• Appointment scheduling via EMR system
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Maintain accurate patient records, including personal details, medical history, insurance information and contact information
• Insurance verification
• Handle incoming phone calls and in-person inquiries
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and medical staff
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances from patients

salary: $16 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Appointment scheduling, check-in and out, Patient Information Management, handling incoming phone calls and in-person inquiries, appointment availability, Insurance verification, payment handling, effective communication between patients and medical staff.
