Are you an experienced Medical Scheduler looking for a new opportunity scheduling appointments via phones? We are looking for people with great customer service and professional healthcare professionals who love helping patients. We are looking for qualified Medical Front Office Specialist to join our growing team! This position will be in the Cardiovascular Department of a large health system in East Cobb, GA.

salary: $15 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic, financial and insurance information
• Obtains new medical record numbers
• Enters all patient information into the registration system
• Greets all guest with a positive and professional attitude
• Completes financial evaluation forms
• Maintains a list of health care financial assistance programs
• Sorts and files various documents
• Conducts intensive screening of all Medicare, Medicaid and managed care patients
• Gathers appropriate identification for patient and confirms all patient demographics
