NIGHT SHIFT LEAD

A leading distributor of electrical supplies in the city of Whittier, CA is looking for a diligent Night Shift Lead preferably with electrical/distibution background to join their growing team! The company caters to commercial, residential, government, and industrial sectors and is growing very rapidly. salary: $66,000 - $66,560 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 10 PM - 6 AM

Responsibilities

• Guarantee that all trucks are accurately prepared for the following day’s delivery.
• Ensure all items - ranging from boxes, pallets, conduit, reels, wire coils, and carts - are safely
loaded onto trucks.
• Verify and check all loads before truck departure, minimizing customer delivery inconsistencies
and inventory losses.
• Oversee and prevent any potential errors or inventory losses.
• Ensure each route has distinct staging areas for yard material and facilitate designated spots
for trucks to optimize efficiency. Notify Warehouse or Quality Manager of any discrepancies.
• Lead the night crew in safe and efficient loading procedures and guide the accuracy and
promptness of each truck loading.
• Understand and confirm the readiness of every loaded truck in preparation of routes.
• Perform other duties assigned.
• Work mandatory overtime as required.



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 30lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
