The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 12 hours at one time working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week working weekends

Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
- Being able to work at a fast pace
- Packing a wide variety of products and materials
- Removing product from the line and visually inspecting to assure quality standards
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
- Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
- Helping in other departments as needed, including but not limited to the palletizing, labeling and warehouse areas of the factory.
