Part Time Property Accountant

Are you an Accounting Consultant looking to supplment your income? Look no further, we have a remote positon starting next week! TYPE: Indefinite Consultant   SCHEDULE: 8-10 hours a week LOCATION: Remote, 1 day biweekly in Los Gatos if local to the Bay Area PAY: $25.00 - $30.00 Please apply if you meet the following requirements:

• 3 years of accounting work experience 
• Flexible work hours, no more than 10 a week starting out

Responsibilities

• Supporting increased work load for ICS Sweep Accounts 
• Analyzes and interprets financial information, compiles, and reports data for assigned portfolio of properties
• Prepares complex account reconciliation and journal entries and performs on-going analytical review in support of the monthly close process
• Prepares monthly analysis of account variance
• Ensures all inter-entity transactions are in balance and analyzes variances prior to financial reporting close
• Research and documents conclusions on accounting issues with appropriate understanding of relevant GAAP pronouncements
• Confirms surplus distributions are correctly calculated and appropriately distributed
• Provides ad-hoc reporting, as requested
• Performs other assignments as required
