We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aerospace Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team to prepare and paint the exterior surfaces of aircraft, spacecraft, and other aerospace components. salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

Surface preparation: You will be responsible for preparing the surfaces of aerospace components for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas that do not require paint.

Mixing and matching paint: You will need to mix and match paints to create the specific colors needed for the project, and ensure that the paint meets the required quality standards.

Applying paint: You will use a variety of techniques to apply paint to aerospace components, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers. You must ensure that the paint is applied evenly and that the finish meets the required quality standards.

Quality control: You will be responsible for inspecting painted surfaces for defects, such as runs or sags, and making any necessary touch-ups.

Equipment maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning paint equipment, including spray guns and paint booths, to ensure they are in good working order.
