PLANT MANAGER

We are looking for a candidate with previous Production/ Plant Management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of quality products through production, operations, and manufacturing. This is a management position with hands-on responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom-line results, working closely with project managers on multiple sites. The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication skills, pose the ability to multi task Ready to drive performance improvements as a production coordinator or supervisor? The Plant Management is responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the overall plant operation. Assures that the plant's production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and Local Safety and Environmental regulations and laws. Ready to let your ambition thrive?

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Project Manager the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Coordinates with the Quality Manager the plant's total quality program.
• Confers with managers and their subordinates and other plant personnel on the application of continuous improvement methods and meeting production standards and cost parameters.
• Reviews all recommendations for special machinery and works closely with engineering personnel regarding product and process improvement and new product launches.
• Participates in long-range plant expansion, conversion, and equipment planning.
• Oversees the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and plant security and protection.
• Authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
• Authorized to ensure plant personnel adherence to Safety Program.
