PLC Technician

salary: $76,960 - $81,120 per year

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain exisiting programs 
• Maintain electrical machinery: repair and replace switches,gears, brushes, and armatures 
• Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand toolslighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. • Maintains plant power distribution systems, including performing preventive maintenance, and installing wiring, conduit and apparatus

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
