Our client is in search of a qualified and dynamic Procurement Manager in the Harrisburg area. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the entire procurement process & managing & training the procurement team. Responsibilities
-Manage and supervise the procurement staff (1), ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
-Establish annual contracts for supplies, services, and construction.
-Review major solicitations and contracts for compliance and improvement opportunities.
-Develop and administer operational procedures for procurement functions and property management.
-Provide recommendations for policy revisions regarding supply and service purchases.
-Maintain and distribute procurement guides, manuals, and related documents.
-Monitor and enforce legislative mandates and procurement policies.
-Conduct procurement training programs.
-Support information technology systems for purchasing.
-Utilize procurement software for the entire procurement cycle.
