Responsibilities
Planning and Organizing:
- Develop production schedules and allocate resources (workers, equipment, materials) appropriately to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with other departments (such as procurement, maintenance, quality control) to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, guide, and motivate production workers to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or training when necessary.
- Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed company standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze production data and metrics to make informed decisions about process optimization.
