Project Engineer needed for a client that produces automated systems for manufacturing. The job will be located just outside of Indianapolis. This individual will play a key role in making sure milestones are met and customers are satisfied. Salary will be based on experience.
Bachelors in Engineering
Direct design experience using SolidWorks or another similar 3D parametric CAD software package.
Proficient in ANSI Y14.5.
Proficient in MS Word & Excel
Advanced knowledge of drafting & fabrication principles.
Possess advanced working knowledge of robots, PLC's, instrumentation or other machine controls packages, sensors and pneumatics

salary: $75,000 - 95,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Collaborate with mechanical engineering staff, electrical/controls engineering, design/purchasing, project management, and fabrication/assembly teams on projects.
Analyze complete and in-progress engineering models, drawings and specifications to assess for design for manufacturability, design for service, and design for robustness
Verify, publish, and manage BOMs for completed designs
Lead and support the project team during debug and run-off efforts
