Responsibilities
- Ensures timely and efficient execution of purchase orders for suppliers and managing report.
- Ensures execution of debit memos to suppliers for returned merchandise, works with receipts (Warehouse) to track and solve discrepancies.
- Supports the Supplier Managers/Sub-Contract Managers by providing accurate and timely data. (e.g., packing list and invoice accuracy) to comply with treasury and accounting practices.
- Email responses and actioning P.O. acknowledgments
- Proof of Delivery Requests, Receiving discrepancies, RTV’s of Noncompliant material
- Late order report, emailing every supplier for late orders, looking up actual MRP on every line and determining the actual need date and quantity and providing that information to the supplier via email.
- Phone calls to suppliers to check status when there is no response to a PO or late PO request.
- Gatekeeper supplies, based on daily operations.
