A leading distribution warehouse in the Prince George area is looking for an experienced QA Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate must be eager to take their current skills and knowledge and apply it to this role with also learning new processes and steps specific to this environment. The ideal candidate would be a team player, with the ability to work by themselves under minimal supervision. This position is a 2nd shift position, starting at 4:30pm and ending at 2:00am. This is a Monday-Friday position, with overtime available every week. Training will be held on 1st shift for several weeks, so the ideal candidate will need to be able to work both shifts with the intent to work on 2nd shift long-term.

salary: $15.75 - $16.25 per hour

Responsibilities

- Using computer systems to access information on parts - Verifying parts and samples - Using Microsoft Word and Excel to enter and track data - Using spreadsheets, email and databases to input numerical/non-numerical data - Willing to perform QA inspection work in the warehouse environment - Meeting production goals and quotas - Walking, standing, and lifting up tp 50lbs and bending in a non-air conditioned warehouse

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 9 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
