Responsibilities
Inspects incoming raw materials while utilizing sampling plan, approved engineering prints, and various instruments and software within the inspection/metrology lab. First piece inspections & reporting. Inspects print specifications and conformance. Maintains records regarding inspection and testing results. Develops master bubble, inspection plans, ensures revision control. Uses inspection tooling (calipers, scales, optical comparator, micrometers, plug gages, microscope, thread gages, etc.).
The essential functions of this role include:manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
